Optimize Your Donation with a Hybrid Approach

One can significantly reduce their net out-of-pocket cost of donating by combining the two strategies using the Hybrid Approach. This involves a simultaneous second transaction to offset the cost of the donation with the cash proceeds from an individual transaction. This can significantly reduce the after-tax cost of the donation well below the level of a stand-alone Enhanced Philanthropy transaction to as low and $0.01 per dollar donated.
